Jasmine El-Gamal, Founder and CEO of Averos Strategies, is a geopolitical analyst and strategic advisor with over 25 years of experience across the public and private sectors.
Her work focuses on helping decision-makers interpret geopolitical developments, understand Middle East and US political dynamics, and communicate effectively in high-stakes environments.
She previously served as a Middle East advisor at the U.S. Department of Defense, where she counseled Pentagon leadership, including three Secretaries of Defense, during pivotal moments including post-war Iraq, the Arab Spring, the campaign against ISIS, and the Syrian conflict.
Born in New York and raised in Egypt, Jasmine brings a bicultural perspective to her work, bridging Western and Middle Eastern contexts and helping clients navigate the political, cultural, and social forces shaping global affairs. Her career has taken her from the battlefields of Iraq to the courtrooms of Guantánamo Bay, and from refugee camps in Europe to the hallways of power in U.S. government.
